Lifeboat Systems
Life or tender boats on Cruise line vessels need not only sturdy and reliable design. They also require easy access for all passengers and crew. Our davit design concept (be it with pivot-arm davits, telescopic or fixed out-reach davits) will follow the ship’s deck situation. Our detailed solution will allow a swift and controlled embarkation even in challenging conditions up to 20° tilt.
Rescue Boat Systems
Historically “man-overboard” manoeuvres are critical situations. They demand speed and reliability from our equipment.
To utilize the full potential of the rescue boats we provide the required support. Extra features beyond SOLAS requirements to improve handling such as double wires for extended safety or anti pendulum devices e.g. pushing frames or docking heads can be provided.
Raft Handling Systems
In addition to the lifeboats on board our davit-launched life rafts offer an additional method to rescue crew and passengers. The number of rafts per davit is regulated by SOLAS.
Free-fall Systems
The classic davit solution at the stern for commercial ships with relatively small crews and where the deckhouse will protect the boat against the cargo area. Available with various kinds of crane concepts and for arctic temperatures. Special applications are platforms with many boats and very large drop heights.
